Convocation of PMU: Gold medals to 27 meritorious students

Udaipur, The convocation ceremony of Pacific Medical University was held on the university campus on Saturday. Chancellor Rahul Agarwal and chief guest Supreme Court Justice Jitendra Kumar Maheshwari awarded gold, silver, and bronze medals to 40 students and degrees to 700 students.
The convocation ceremony began with the academic procession of all Dean Directors and Heads of Departments under the leadership of Chancellor Rahul Agarwal. After this, medals and degrees were distributed on the university campus.

On this occasion, Chancellor Rahul Agarwal said that it is my expectation from the teachers of Pacific Medical University that they first imbibe themselves and then share their knowledge with the students, as well as make maximum use of information technology in this era of science and technology. So that the students get to learn something new every day.
Agarwal said that we have to prepare such educational models that fulfill the education policy's priorities.
On this occasion, Chief Guest Supreme Court Justice Jitendra Kumar Maheshwari said that the doctor should always be happy because the doctor's smile gives strength to the patient of serious illness to fight the disease. That's why the doctor should always contribute his hundred percent to save the patient's life in any situation because the doctor is considered God.
The special guest was Prof. President of UNESCO's Asia Pacific Regional Peace and Sustainable Development Mahatma Gandhi Institute during this. Bhagwati Prakash Sharma, stressing the need for future-generation medical research by Pacific University Group, said that Pacific University Group is moving toward long-term multicentric research. MoUs have been signed with the Institute of Medical Sciences and Yatharth Chikitsalaya Group for the Government of Uttar Pradesh. Talks are also going on for joint research with Maharashtra and Gujarat medical institutes.
Presenting the outline of future research at Pacific Medical University, Professor Sharma said that under these joint research agreements, Pacific Medical University will do other long-term medical research. We Will conduct collaborative research on topics such as genomics and genomic engineering.
India will be able to maintain its leading position in medical science only if new-generation diagnostic techniques and medical research are promoted. That's why the university is moving forward in the direction of using these techniques in teaching, along with investigating new areas like artificial intelligence, 3D printing, and neural sensors in medicine.
At the beginning of the convocation ceremony, Uphalapati (President) of the University DrA. Gupta welcomed all the guests and gave information about the year-long activities and achievements of the university. At the same time, he said that sometimes the result of hard work is not immediately available. That requires a lot of patience. That's why the youth should set their goal and focus on them; then, success will be sure.
Institute's Vice-Chairman Preeti Agarwal thanked all the visiting guests.
About 3000 guests at the convocation ceremony, along with special guest Astrologer and Counselor Dr. Arvind Dwivedi, Justice Indrapreet Singh Joshi, Keshav Kaushik, Mr. Daga, Mohit Madhav, Shailesh Bhatt, Virendra Jasuja, Shantanu Gupta of Social Justice and Empowerment Department, Income Tax Commissioner Mumbai Amit Kumar Soni, Commissioner Yogesh Pancholi, Microsoft's Akhilesh Kumar Dwivedi, DIG Anti-Corruption Bureau Udaipur Rajendra Prasad Goyal, Pacific Group Chairman BR Agarwal, Coordinator Sharad Kothari, Registrar Devendra Singh Sarangdevot and other officials were present.
Meanwhile, gold medals were awarded to three MBBS students, four gold medals to four students of M.Sc Medical, three gold medals in Dental, 11 gold medals in undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Nursing, and graduate and doctoral courses in Physiotherapy for their excellent performance in the previous years. Six gold medals were awarded to the students of post graduate stream
