The Rajasthan government's tourism department has a glorious presentation to receive the Sherpas, ambassadors, and senior representatives of different countries who arrived at the first Sherpa meeting of the G-20 summit. The tourism department organized various cultural programs from December 4 to 7, starting from welcoming the guests at the airport to the Sherpa meeting. Rathore said that the Tourism Department welcomed the guests at Udaipur's Maharana Pratap Airport to introduce them to the culture of Rajasthan and women folk artists of Bikaner in traditional costumes. Apart from receiving the guests at Udaipur airport, branding related to various tourist places of the state has also been done, which will leave an indelible impression of Rajasthan's tourist places and culture in the minds of the guests.
Cultural presentations of Rajasthan to be held in the evening of December 4 to 7
she said that on the evening of December 4 to 7, various cultural programs would be organized by the tourism department. On the first day of the meeting, on the evening of December 4, world-famous Langa Manganiyar folk artist Ghazi Khan gave a colorful performance at the Sheeshmahal of Hotel Leela. On the second day, on the evening of December 5, various folk artists of the state enthralled the foreign guests in the cultural program 'Colors of Rajasthan' organized at Jagmandir Palace. The next day, on the evening of December 6, there was a presentation based on different art styles of India at Manak Chowk, Udaipur City Palace. Similarly,  on words on the fourth day, on the evening of December 7, a cultural presentation will be held in Ranakpur.

Various global issues were discussed in the marathon G-20 meeting in Durbar Hall
The G-20 Sherpa meeting went from Monday morning to evening in the Durbar Hall of Taj Fateh Prakash Palace. Inaugurating the conference at 8.30 am, India's Sherpa Amitabh Kant expressed his views on India's G-20 chairmanship. After this, Ajay Seth, Secretary of the Economic Department, Ministry of Finance, presented an overview of the Finance Track. The technological transformation was discussed from 9 am, in which digital economy, health, and Education were discussed. This was followed by a Green Development and Lifestyle for Environment (LIFE) session in which Sherpas from different countries expressed their views. After lunch, from 1.30 pm to 3 pm, the round of discussion started again. Finally, there was a discussion on the topic 'Global and Regional Economic Prospects and Challenges' in which Louise Brewer and Christine Costel from the IMF presented.
Sherpa was overwhelmed by wearing Rajasthani Safo
aAfter the meeting, 'Experience Rajasthan at Manak Chowk' was organized in Manak Chowk, where Sherpas and HODs from different countries were made to sit and tie the safa. After connecting the turban, the Sherpas looked very excited and took selfies. By linking colorful safa on their heads, the excited foreign guests felt proud to wear this unique crown of Rajasthan. Happiness and pride were expressed on their cheerful faces. During this, many Sherpas also interacted with the media and shared their experiences of India. Indian Sherpa Amitabh Kant said that efforts will be made to solve global problems through G-20.
Kant again thanked the Chief Minister.
Addressing media persons, Amitabh Kant said that informal dialogues like tea and banquet are also being discussed apart from formal ones. Kant said that this conference in Udaipur has created a new atmosphere, and G-20 will benefit from it in the future. He said that today everyone here is seen painted in Rajasthani colors. Kant again thanked Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Chief Secretary Usha Sharma, Divisional Commissioner Rajendra Bhatt, and Collector Tara Chand Meena for the excellent arrangements.
Day 2 G20 Presidency 
The first day of the meeting saw a dialogue on 'Sustainable Development Goals along with various activities, including an informal media interaction with G20 India Sherpas. Performances went on throughout the day. These development goals were at the midpoint of the 2030 Agenda for Transforming Lives.
Essential discussions on five key focus areas of India's G20 Presidency began today, December 5, at the majestic Durbar Hall of the Taj Fateh Prakash Hotel. Apart from the first two sessions on 'Technological Change' and 'Green Growth and Lifestyle for the Environment, a dialogue on 'Global and Regional Economy: Prospects and Challenges' and an informal 'Tea Discussion' among G20 member states were held.
The talks of the first Sherpa meeting were initiated by India's G20 Sherpa, Shri Amitabh Kant, who presented India's G20 priorities across the 13 working groups. Sherpa highlighted India's duty as the authentic voice of the Global South, using its role as G20 Chair to create win-win cooperation between developed and developing countries.
Shri Ajay Seth, Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance, outlined the world's critical economic challenges today that require the collective capacity of the G20 countries to respond in unison.
This was followed by the first session on Technological Transformation with the participation of Working Groups on Digital Economy, Health, and Education, in which delegates discussed current challenges to accelerate digitization in different sectors in their countries.
In addition, representatives from G20 countries invited guests, and heads of international organizations shared critical interventions to better leverage technology's power in several ways. Among other topics, the importance of cyber security, inclusiveness in expanding access to technical services and infrastructure, and digital skilling were discussed.
The second session on Green Growth and Lifestyle for the Environment focused on effective strategies to collectively tackle climate change. Development, Energy Transition, Climate Stability Working Group, and Disaster Risk Resilience and Mitigation Working Group participated in this session. India's G20 Sherpa underlined the need to facilitate green and energy transition while stressing the need to promote collective action towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. The participating countries appreciated India's initiative and expressed their support and commitment to bringing its agenda to fruition.
Mr. Louis Breuer, IMF Resident Representative in India, and Ms. Christina Kostial, Deputy Director of the IMF's Strategy and Policy Department, engage in a thought-provoking discussion and draw attention to today's most pressing global economic challenges. This was followed by a dialogue on "The Global and Regional Economy: Prospects and Challenges." The dialogue offered essential ideas for the world to address critical concerns and become more resilient to economic volatility.
In addition, 'Chai Pe Charcha' was held over evening tea to promote deeper interpersonal relations and strengthen ties among G20 member countries.
During a visit to the historic Manak Chowk in Udaipur, the G20 Sherpas were presented with traditional Indian wear jackets, safas/turbans, etc., to further enrich the authentic cultural experience of Rajasthan. The second day ended with an interaction over dinner at the magnificent Jag Mandir in Udaipur.
India continues to extend its best hospitality to the G20 Sherpas and delegations. Of India aims to give a unique experience and a glimpse into our rich history and traditions through various cultural activities, historical sites, and sightseeing tours showcasing Rajasthani arts and crafts.
