Udaipur: On the occasion of Amrit Mahotsav of Independence, the government has gifted people above 18 years of age with free vaccine doses of the Covid vaccine.
Under which, from today onwards, people above 18 years of age will be given the third Dose of vaccine, i.e., Precaution Dose, free of cost at the Government covid Vaccination Centers.
This Amrit Mahotsav of covid Vaccine started at P.H.C. Bhupalpura in Udaipur by District Collector Mr. Tarachand Meena himself by getting precaution dose.
On this occasion, CMHO Dr. Dinesh Kharadi, RCHO Dr. Ashok Aditya, Dr. Akshay Vyas from WHO, Mudit Mathur from UNDP, hospital staff, and a large number of beneficiaries were present.
Collector Mr. Meena said that the state government has always been sensitive towards the health of the ordinary person. To promote the covid vaccination, where earlier people above 18 years had to pay for the vaccination dose, now it has been made accessible for the next 75 days.
Appealing to the people of the district, he said that the eligible beneficiaries above the age of 18 years must take advantage of this particular campaign being run by the government and help in keeping themselves, families, and society safe by getting covid vaccination done.
This free Dose will be taken at all health centers.
CMHO Dr. Dinesh Kharadi said that this particular campaign which started on July 15, will continue till September 30. In these 75 days, a free vaccine dose of covid vaccine will be installed at all the health centers of the district. Along with this, this facility will also be available at all Urban Primary Health Centers in urban areas as well as Vaccination Centers running in R.N.T. Medical College.
Dr. Kharadi said that beneficiaries above the age of 18 years who have been given the second Dose of vaccine for more than six months or more than 26 weeks would be eligible for the free preparation dose.
