Red Cross Day was celebrated with full enthusiasm in the constituent colleges of Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, Udaipur.
Dr. Manoj Kumar Mahala, Student Welfare Officer of the Directorate of Students' Welfare, said various programs were organized in the constituent colleges to celebrate the day.
Dr. BK Sharma, Dean of Fisheries College, and students donated 10 units of blood and celebrated Red Cross Day by taking out a rally in the college and giving the students the message of selfless human service and social service.
Assistant Dean of Student Welfare Dr. N.L. While organizing the rally, Meena and Dr. KK Yadav informed the students about eating coarse grains, their quality, their effect on the body, and maintaining the balance of nature and the environment.
Dr. Gayatri Tiwari, Assistant Dean of Student Welfare, College of Community and Applied Sciences, organized the orientation program. The children were told about the different types of work through a picture exhibition depicting the working system and the rules of the Red Cross Society, which inspired them.
College of Dairy and Food Technology, under the leadership of Dr. Kamlesh Kumar Meena, Assistant Dean, Student Welfare, the students performed shramdaan on the university campus. They talked about making children and the general public aware of it through posters of environmental protection through rallies.

While talking about the different dimensions of human service, Yadav informed that the consumption of lemon water in the scorching heat is beneficial for the body, lemon water stalls were set up on the premises, and people were given lemon water and other health, explained the effect on the body.
