Udaipur/ The results of Mahatma Gandhi English Medium School students, Dhanmandi, were declared on Tuesday. On this occasion, Pankaj Kumar Sharma, district convenor of Mahatma Gandhi Jeevan Darshan Samiti and Shanti Ahimsa Cell, felicitated the students who got first, second and third positions by wearing cotton garlands, tricolor uparna and presenting their certificates.
Sharma said in his address that taking an innovative initiative by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on June 19, 2019, Government English medium schools were started in the state; through this, the state government opened Mahatma Gandhi English medium schools at various places in the state. Since then, poor children can also get an education through English medium, and now the children of villages can also stand shoulder to shoulder with the children of big cities after getting English medium education!
The Chief Minister always says from the stage that Hindi is our mother tongue, but English education has become very important at the international level. A child studying English can stand with the children of the whole world and shape his future!
  Opening of government English medium school in this episode is an unusual step!
Presently 42 English medium schools are operating in the Udaipur district. Chief Minister has announced 23 additional Mahatma Gandhi English medium schools in the budget 2023-24; thus, the total number of Mahatma Gandhi English medium schools in the district will be 65! The total enrollment in Mahatma Gandhi Vidyalayas in Udaipur district is around 14000.
  The first English medium school in the district was inaugurated in Dhanmandi; here, the first batch of class 12th will also start! Which shows the success of this campaign!
Minister has resolved that every child in the state should get a quality education so that they can shape their future.
Sharma felicitated school principal Richa Roopal by wearing a Gandhi cap and cotton garland for her excellent result in the school.
  Councilors Firoz Ahmed Sheikh, Umesh Sharma, Dr. Sandeep Garg, Ashfaq Qureshi, Jagdish Jat, Kamlesh Suthar, Neeta Nalwani, staff of the school, parents of the children were present on the occasion.
