NSS Workshop on Orientation of youth on gender and child rights at BN University

Organized an open discussion with youth on gender and child rights at Bhupal Nobles University under the joint aegis of UNICEF, Budget Studies and Research Center Trust, Jaipur, and Bhupal Nobles College on the topic 'Orientation of Youth on Gender and Child Rights' for NSS Volunteers Workshop was organized. The workshop was inaugurated by the Chairperson of Bhupal Nobles' University Sh Pradeep Kumar Singh and Registrar Sh. Parbat Singh with garlanding and lighting the lamp on the statue of Maa Saraswati. Addressing the volunteers present on the occasion, Chairman Sh. Pradeep Kumar Singh said that there is a need to remove the differences arising on the division of work between men and women in the society and boys and girls should get equal rights. Parbat Singh inspired everyone to work extensively in the society with zeal and enthusiasm. India has been committed to the rights, equality and development of children since its inception. Children have the right to protection in case of any kind of danger and risk. On this occasion, Bhupal Nobles' University National Service Scheme Coordinator Dr. Jyotiraditya Singh Bhati, while welcoming and introducing everyone, highlighted the entire outline of the program and various programs organized under the aegis of NSS in the university.
     Mr. Nisar Ahmed, Director of Budget Studies and Research Trust, Jaipur, presenting the study done in the district on gender norms and gender equality equality, work division, behavior and violence being done towards boys and girls in rural and urban community. Discussed in detail the comparative description of UNICEF's State Consultant Mr. Jamir Anwar explained the purpose of the program and highlighted the central government's plans and programs related to women and children while making everyone aware of the law related to the protection of children's rights. In the workshop, Mr. Ashwini Paliwal Secretary Aastha Discussing the role of youth and students in the society, the institute discussed in detail what steps should be taken to remove gender-based discrimination and stereotypes and how the misconceptions spread in the society can be removed. On the occasion, Budget Analyst Mr. Shakeel Khan, Budget Studies and Research Trust, Jaipur and Dr. Ritu Tomar, Asso.Dean Faculty of Science, Dr. Prem Singh Ravlot, Head of Department Public Administration, Program Officer Dr. Lokeshwari Rathod, Dr. Sangeeta Rathod, Dr. Srishtiraj Singh, Dr. Girdhar Pal Singh, Dr.Rajni Arora, Dr.Rahul Khanna, Dr. Pratap Singh Rao, Dr.Seema Sharma also participated in the open discussion.
