International Dance Day celebrated at Neerja Modi School

Udaipur. International Dance Day was organized at Neerja Modi School. The students of class VII presented the program. Rishabh Jain and Purvi Purohit conducted the program. The program started with Sanskrit shloka. The students gave a beautiful dance performance.

Chairperson Dr. Mahendra Sojatia told the children that the International Dance Committee of the International Theater Institute of UNESCO had announced to celebrate this day on April 29, 1982, on the birthday of the great dancer Jean Jarjanavare, and since then, International Dance Day has been celebrated.

Navera told about the book Letters Ondance by a proficient ballet dancer from France. Dance art can be learned from this book.

Director Sakshi Sojatia gave information about various Indian dances. The importance of dance was explained to the children.

The dance style of the children was greatly appreciated, and the teachers appreciated the work of the teachers.

Principal Shubha Govil said that dance is a spiritual practice, worship of God. The purpose of celebrating International Dance Day all over the world, made by the Dance Committee of the International Theater Institute, is to awaken the spirit of dance among the general public.
