The 108th Indian Science Congress session has been decided to be held from 3rd to 7th January 2023 at Mohanlal Sukhadia University Udaipur. The Science Congress Association Executive Council and General Body meeting was held on the 7th and 8th at Headquarters Kolkata has approved the proposal

. In front of the Council and the General Body, the Director and Local Secretary of the Commuter Center, Dr. Avinash Pawar, and the Head of the Department of Physics, Prof. KB Joshi, presented  MLSU s claim in detail about the organization of the 108th Indian Science Congress. The Council and the General Body unanimously accepted this proposal and accepted hosting at Mohanlal Sukhadia University Udaipur for organizing this Maha Kumbh of the world of science. During the presentation, information was given about the available infrastructure of Mohanlal Sukhadia University and affiliated institutions, residential arrangements, transport facilities, etc.

 In the Council and General Body Meeting, the General President of the Indian Science Congress, Prof. Vijayalakshmi Saxena, Former General President Prof. Rangappa, former DRDO Director Dr. Arvind Kumar Saxena, former General President Prof. Ashok Kumar Saxena, Prof. Manoj Chakraborty, Treasurer Dr. Shiv Satyaprakash and General Secretary Prof. S Ramakrishna and Prof. Anoop Kumar & Many senior scientists and teachers gathered from all over the country, including, representatives of the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, attended. Earlier, as the representative of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Neeraj Sharma met the officials of the Executive Council and favored the hosting of Udaipur for the dignified event of the 108th Indian Science Congress.

 University Vice Chancellor Prof. Amarika Singh expressed gratitude to the Indian Science Congress Association for providing the 108th Indian Science Congress host to Mohanlal Sukhadia University Udaipur and the Chancellor and Governor of the Chancellor and Governor of the University, Shri Kalraj Mishra, for the approval and recommendation of the event. Vc also expressed his gratitude to honorable CM Ashok Gehlot and Higher Education Minister Shri Rajendra Yadav.
