PIMS cardiac team gave new life to the student

Udaipur. The cardiac team at Pacific Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) Hospital, Umrada, has given a new lease of life to a student.

PIMS chairman Asheesh Agarwal said that a 25-year-old college student suffered cardiac arrest immediately after complaining of severe chest pain, vomiting, and dizziness. He was brought to the Emergency ICU of PIMS Hospital, where he was given CPR. And D.C. Grieved and placed on a ventilator. His heart pumping was only 20 percent. Seeing such a severe condition, he was immediately shifted to Cathleb with immediate effect. Her coronary angiography revealed that her main artery (LMCA) had abundant blood clots, and the (LAD) artery was 100 percent blocked. Dr. Amit Khandelwal, Senior Interventional Cardiologist, Director and Head, Cardiology Department, underwent an angioplasty by placing a medicated stent in that main artery (LMCA-LAD). Dr. Umesh, Dr. Jayesh, Dr. Vipin were present with Dr. Khandelwal during the angioplasty. The next day of angioplasty, the student was removed from the ventilator and discharged two days later. The student is still healthy.
