Actress Aditi Govitrikar of 'De Dana Dan' fame was in the city, recently for a personal engagement. The '16 December' actress, who has been to the city several times before, in a candid chat with us shares what she loves about Lucknow, about her long hiatus in Bollywood, her personal life, upcoming projects and more. The actress and model Aditi, who ventured into acting through a Telegu movie, Thammudu in 1999, has been away from mainstream cinema for quite a long time. Ask the model turned actress the reason for such a long hiatus as far as her Bollywood career is concerned and she says that she hasn't been entirely missing from the silver screen. "I worked in a movie in 2016 which was to release at the end of 2017, but the project got shelved due to roadblocks in the producer’s way. As for movies this year, I was a part of this spectacular Marathi movie called Smile Please directed by Vikram Phadnis. As far as Bollywood is concerned, I’m also playing a part in Amin Hajee’s next, titled Koi Jaane Na which is set to release early next year."
Aditi has also done quite a lot of TV shows and serials like Bigg Boss, Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi and was last seen in the show Suryaputra Karn in 2015. "Until last year I was quite preoccupied with my degrees. Fortunately, this year Harvard has graced us with flexible learning schedules, so I could take up more work on-screen," says Aditi, who is currently pursuing a Masters in Psychology from Harvard University.
