A workshop was held in Meera Girls College by the Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Cell regarding the knowledge of foreign language. Sharad Khandelwal, the resource person for McGraw Hill Education, Jaipur, discussed the importance of learning foreign language online among students. He said that the knowledge of foreign knowledge can prove to be a boon for making a career in tourism industry. If anyone knows languages like French, German, Spanish etc., it will prove to be an added advantage for females craving to create a career in international marketing, KPO, BPO and as a tourist guide. Principal Dr. Ritu Matharu said that this online language course will provide employment opportunities to the students. The benefit of this course is that girl students can avail the facility of this online course at convenient time schedules.
