A New City Park-Entertainment and relaxation centre

Udaipur: City Park in Goverdhan Vilas is taking its form now. The park is being developed near GoverdhanSagar and is going to be a great centre for relaxation and entertainment for public as well as tourists. With an estimated budget of 3 crores, special attention is being paid to maintain the green space in the park.Tracks have been made after levelling the land. The park has a provision of open theatre where people can sit alongside the lake and enjoy puppet show and other programmes as well. A kid zone is also being developed so that children feel good and have their share of entertainment. An open gym is also on the agenda. A food zone will be developed keeping in mind the cleanliness of this area. It has been decided to provide a variety of food and entertainment both.
The work of the park is likely to be completed by December and the city might get the gift of a wonderful park in the coming New Year 2019.
A good space for the morning walkers is also a boon. The park will provide a walking track for both morning and evening walkers.
Plantation work has been done 17000 sq.ft area of the park. It may be noted that the park is being developed on 24000 sq.ft land. There will be a facility of smart wash-room which will be the first of its kind in the city. A statue of PannaDhai will be installed in the park. Pedestal work is going on for installing the statue. This area will be specifically developed to depict PannaDhai’s sacrifice for saving the life of MaharanaUdai Singh as a child.
