Organizes Farmer Training Program and Awareness program

Udaipur: Crop Care Federation of India in collaboration of MaharanaPratap University of Agriculture and Technology organizes Farmer Training Program and Awareness program at Udaipur.
Crop Care Federation of India is an apex federation of over 50 leading Agriculture input companies dealing in fertilizer, pesticides, seeds and water management. As part of their endeavour to ensure farmers prosperity Crop Care Federation of India (CCFI) has been undertaking extension programs to educate small and marginal farmers, besides contract agriculture labour on “Safe and Judicious use of Agrochemicals” all over the country. A Program was organised at Rajasthan College of Agriculture (RCA) auditorium, Udaipur on 12th October 2018, where over 250 farmers of six KVKS and adjoining potential areas growing maize, paddy, cotton and wheat participated.Besides presentation made by subject matter specialist, a live demonstration was conducted by Mr. Harish Mehta Advisor CCFI which saw active participation from the farmers present.
Prof. U S Sharma vice chancellor MaharanaPratap University of Agriculture and Technology (MPUAT) inaugurated the program and advice the farmer to strictly follow the guidelines for good agriculture practices advocated by the University, Government and industry.Dr.Anurabh Joshi, Dean RCA and Prof. Ajay K Sharma, Dean CTAE emphasized the importance for such programs. Mr Mahesh Verma, JDA elaborated on the existing Government scheme for the Rajasthan farmers.
Earlier NirmalaPathrawal, Head, CCFI welcome the farmer and the delegates. She emphasised on the vital role played in ensuring food and nutrition security and make in India self reliant in agriculture commodities.
