Former Chief Minister Mohanlal Sukhadia's eldest son Dilip Sukhadia was cremated at a cremation ground in Ashok Nagar on Sunday. Her only daughter, Kamayani, gave a whisper.
The final journey came out from his residence on Durga Nursery Road to Ashok Nagar relatives of Dilip's younger brother Arun Sukhadia, his nephew Deepak Sukhdiya, relatives were also present. Prior to the last journey, former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot arrived at his residence and strove Dilip's wife and former city Congress president Neelima Sukhadia. In the funeral, Home Minister Gulabchand Kataria, former Union Minister Dr. Girija Vyas, former Assembly Speaker Shanti Lal Chaplot, former MP Raghuvir Meena, MLA Phool Singh Meena, BJP leader Pramod Samar, Deputy Mayor Lokesh Dwivedi paid floral tribute at his body. Apart from this, city Congress President Gopal Sharma, district president Lal Singh, former MLA Surendra Singh Jadaat, Sajjan Katara, Trilok Purabia, Basanti Devi and PCC secretary Pankaj Sharma were present at cremation yard.
Former CM Ashok Gehlot said that after the demise of Mohanlal Sukhdia, his whole family has been active as a Congress worker. Whenever I came to Udaipur, I met Dilip Sukhdia. His demise is a big loss for us.
