RUSA PLAN: 10 Crore Rupees Released to MLSU

Udaipur: Under the National Higher Education Mission (RUSA), MLSU has received as a second installment of Rs 10 crore.In the 12th Five Year Plan from the RUSA campaign of the Central Government, there is a provision of releasing Rs 20 crore to Sukhadia University. Five crore rupees have been released to the university as the first installment.
While the second installment has also been released recently. This money will be used to improve the university's infrastructure. 35 per cent of the grants are being spent on buying new, 35 per cent reinvestment and 30 per cent of the equipment.
It is worth noting that 20 crores each have been sanctioned to 5 government universities of Rajasthan and 100 crores each to 100 colleges.Rs one crore has been released to Kherwada State College. 50 lakhs have been released in the first installment. There is a provision of issuing two crore rupees to Kherwada College too. Prior to this, last year, the state government Girls Meira Girls College had sanctioned one crore rupees as second installment. According to the plan, 60 percent amount is to be borne by the central government and 40 percent of the state government.
