"Women's Respect Demands Men's Education: Dr. Rajeshwari" Udaipur: Friday 10th March, On the occasion of International Women's Day; Geetanjali Medical College & Hospital, Udaipur had organized a session on "Women Empowerment".
The key speakers of the session were Dr. Rajeshwari Narendra, Director AHRD & Dr. Sunanda Gupta, Professor & HoD Anesthesia Dept. GMCH. Mrs. Kanika Agarwal, Mrs. Shruti Agarwal, Dean Geetanjali Medical College Dr. F.S. Mehta, CEO Geetanjali Hospital Dr. Kishor Pujari, Academic Officer Dr. Manjinder Kaur and GM HR Mr. Rajeev Pandya were the guest of honor. The session marked its beginning by lamp lightning and saraswati vandana by the invited guests.
The first speaker Dr. Sunanda Gupta shared some of his random lessons from her life's journey which motivates and helps a woman to achieve her success at professional and personal life.She had also provided a Take Home Message comprising of ten points which are success mantra as: Dream, Knowledge & Wisdom, Be fearless, Accept Challenges, Be Confident, Love Yourself, Don't be Afraid of Committing Mistakes, Burst the Stress Out, Laugh a Lot and Leadership Qualities.
She also said that we should thank god in form of prayers to have a life of a human being. Dr. Rajeshwari discussed about the journey of a woman and struggle associated to beyond victory. She also said that to rise up for the respect of a woman we need to educate our boys to respect women since childhood.
She had asked each woman to spare a span of 30 minutes to organize her life and be more efficient. She had divided woman in four types which includes being agile, dull, stricken or carefree along with fine and healthy.
Both the speakers were fair enough to speak over women empowerment and motivate every one of them not to bear any kind of injustice.
Gender Equality and rights of a woman were the key motives of the session covered handsomely with the speakers' presentations.The guests were felicitated with mementos and shawl. Mr. Rajeev Pandya appreciated the government scheme of "Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao" which exaggerated a poem which gave a feeling of goose bumps to the audience feeling proud to be a woman.
Also the staff associated with GMCH family was honored with a gesture of gift for their hard work, dedication & efforts for bringing success to GMCH. The session was anchored by Dr. Udici Kataria.
