An Effort by Heritage Club of SEEDLING on Balika Divas
“People without the knowledge of their past, culture and origin are like a tree without roots.”
Seedling believes in creating awareness and participation in activities among students and hence its Heritage Club works with the objective to instill a sense of pride in the unique diversity of India’s culture.
To give an exciting dimension to learn and understand, a group of students were escorted by the incharges Ms. Bhavna & Ms. Gargi to Gangaur Ghat, near Jagdish Temple. Students performed the Nukkad Natak conveying the message on the conservation of heritage. The students of heritage club have earlier shown active participation in making colorful posters on ‘Save Girl Child’ laying emphasis on the importance of girl child.
Moving around the vicinity of old city, students also had the opportunity to explore the living heritage of the city by organizing various activities under the guidance of Mr. Gaurav Singhvi of INTACH Club.
The Principal of the school Ms.Maken said that Heritage Club of Seedling is committed to explore and understand the diverse culture and history of not only India but the world and enamors to establish powerful ties with the past.
