National and State level performers felicitated

Studentswhowereselectedatthe NATIONAL&STATE LEVEL were also felicitated OnapleasantSunnyWINTERmorning,theplayground of Seedling Modern Public School came alive with childrenready toparticipateinthe 18th Annual Athletic Meet 2019.A magnificent sports extravaganza and the much awaited Annual Sports Day was organized at Seedling School, Sapetia on 21 December, 2019 in which all the students from Classes I to XII participated with great fervour and manifested their athletic skills with an unimpeachable finesse and made the atmosphere frolicsome. Ch i e f g u e s t Ka p i l a Kanthalia, Additional District Education Officer took the saluteoftheimpressiveMarch Past of the students coupled with some stirring marching music by the band. Students entered into the spirit of the occasion in a grandwaywiththeoathbeing administered by the School Head girl - Srivrinda Ladha. Students mesmerised the audience with their energetic performances of Ribbon , Parachute andZumbafitness Drill. Once the races began, the air was filled with cheering and tons of encouragement for the youth athletes. “Medals are not made of any metal. They’re made of sweat, determination, and a hard-to-find alloy called GUTS.”Students competedin events includingsprints,relay races,funracesandthecompetition between Houses added to the enjoyment. The aim of such sports event is to inculcate the spirit of sportsmanship and fondness for sports in children. The day was a fun filled fest of laughter, energy and delight. Arrival of Santa Claus in abeautifullydecoratedCHARIOT stole the show. TheChristmasparadewas the official opening of the Christmas season with students extending best wishes forMERRYCHRISTMASand A FABULOUS NEW YEAR. Director Hardeep Bakshi along with the Chief Guest gave away the Medals to the winners and praised the endeavours of the school. - MS. SHAMEEM Q
