Tea no doubt is the most cherished beverages in our country. From waking up early in the
morning to rejuvenating after a stressful day, tea is the most adorable and widely available drink. And no matter how unhygienic it is, the tea at a Thadi or a Thhela out in the market or corner of the street remains most favorite of one and all. People who commute on foot to expensive cars stop by a Thadi and enjoy their cuppa. Most of the time this tea is reheated throughout the day, the same tea leaves are boiled many a times, and astonishingly, it still tastes the same and fresh. Now that the idea of tea at a Thadi is well established, here comes an extension to that idea where the taste remains the same but hygiene and flavors get added for the teetotalers. and one very interesting idea that will attract the people more than anything is the offer of Wi- Fi. “Chaifeteria is India's first wifi chai thela which is run by two young entrepreneurs of the city, Vinish and Shubh Purohit. Vinish is a B.Com 2nd year drop-out, a wrestler and an avid traveler .Shubh is studying M.A in English Literature and is also a writer who has recently wrote his first
novel entitled 'She: The Noor of My Eyes'. Shubh has been running different cafes in the city since past three years. Chaifeteria is one of it's kind wifi chai thela which serves free wifi access to customers, along with 16 different varieties of chai like Hari mirch chai, chocolate chai, irani chai, masala chai, pudina chai and more, They also serve
varieties of milk, maggi, maska buns, and cereals. The vision behind opening chaifeteria was to standardized the image of thela among the people, and to serve hygienic food to the customers. “As we believe that “Wi-Fi” and chai are the daily needs of today's generation
so we decided to bring it together for the first time at a thela where people can surf internet, check e-mails while sipping their hot cup of tea,” saus the young duo..Also it is a first of it's kind kiosk which also sells products on the kiosk itself, so if one likes the tea they are sipping they can buy it for themselves as we also have our merchandise section with products like 'Homemade Chai Masala' 'strong CTC Assam tea leaves, green tea leaves, chocolate tea leaves, banana chips, potato crispy chips, and chocolate chip cookies. “Our future plans with our venture is to start more outlets of chaifeteria in Udaipur, and in other parts of the country, also we are going to launch our summer special menu very soon,” says Vinish.
