Jaipur: Chief minister Vasundhara Raje said every poor person should have a house by 2022 ,for which Prime Minister Narendra Modi has started the PM Housing Scheme (rural).
Launching the scheme from Banswara on Saturday and handing over approval letter to five women, she said a target of construction of 6.75 lakh houses has been set for 2018-19 and more than 40,000 houses have been sanctioned in the district.
Raje laid the foundation stone and for the ? 682 crore project in the district.
She laid a foundation stone for a geriatric ward at the Mahatma Gandhi hospital for ? 16.39 crore and for two micro storage tank for ? 9.20 crore and an industrial training institute for 10 crore.
