Udaipr: A health awareness run was conducted at Fatehsagar pal on Sunday. Bandookwala family from the Bohra community organised in this marathon.“A family that runs together stays together“…Following this motto a marathon was held this morning by ‘Bandookwala family’ where every member from 3 yrs to 62 yrs started their run at 6am from Fatehsagar to Rani Road, covering 10kms with the aim of not only a family get together but motivating the spirit of good health and togetherness.People witnessed this one of its kind Marathon in Udaipur, where 52 members of a single family participated and completed the marathon.As informed by Abbas Ali Bandookwala, the health awareness run was organised with a motive to spread messages regarding health and sanitation. Family members who reside in Kuwait, Bahrain, China, Mumbai and Bengaluru also reached Udaipur to be a part of this marathon.Onlookers and morning gentry at Fatehsagar appreciated the initiative and noted that if every family followed the same concept, a healthy family can lead to a healthy community – a community to a healthy city and thereon, spreading the concept across the nation. After its success in its first year, the family strives to continue this every year now. The Bandookwala family appeals and spreads the message of good health to all and urges everyone to do such healthy and pollution free activities in future.
