Need to fight the alliance of the communal and the corporate Udaipur, 23rd March , 2017 was observed as "Inquilab Divas" by the Communist Party of India , Communist Party of India (Marxist), Communist Party of India (Marxist- Leninist) and Loktantrik Adhikaar evem Sadbhavna Manch, Udaipur. Presiding over the meeting to pay tribute to the martyrs Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev Comrade Meghraj Tawar, former MLA said that the communal forces have fallen in alliance with the corporate and are exploiting the common man. He said that they are using the slogans of nationalism to propagate their agenda of fascism and hatred. Their cowardly propaganda against left and democratic forces needs to be replied to through mass organization and mass movements. State Committee member of CPI(ML) Comrade Shanker Lal Chaudhary said that it is the convenient strategy of the fascist forces to link economic and governance issues with blind nationalism and confuse people. He said that the call by RSS people to get the head of the Chief Minister of Kerala is a sign of their anti democratic and fascist temperament. He challenged the right wing fascist forces to come and try who dares to cut heads. Journalist and socialist thinker Himmat Seth argued that the appointment of Yogi Adityanath to the post of CM of Uttar Pradesh is an indication as to what is the agenda of Union BJP government. It is cow, temple and communal divide. Issues of poverty, unemployment and education are not on their agenda, he claimed. Prof. H.S.Chandalia, secretary of Loktantrik Adhikar evem Sadbhawana Manch said that Bhagat Singh wanted to make a world free of exploitation whether it is that of a man by another man or of a nation by another nation. This has not been achieved. Capitalist forces have created a world of huge inequalities. Therefore a united struggle of left and democratic forces is the need of the hour. Convening the programme former Counselor and secretary of CPI (M) Rajesh Singhvi said that Bhagat Singh was conscious of the world revolutions and wanted to raise a revolution in India to build a country of socialist ideals. He was an atheist and did not believe in religion.
His objective was to struggle for the unity of the working class across the world and struggle for their emancipation. Counselor Rajendra Vasita, CPI(ML) district secretary Dr. C.D. Ola, Shamsher Singh Nandwani of CITU, Ashwini Kumar Paliwal secretary of PUCL , Comrade Devra, comrade Nand Kishore of Lal Jhanda Tempo Union and many others addressed the meetin g. In the morning a two-wheeler rally was taken out through the main markets of the town starting from Town Hall and reaching Sevashram where floral tributes were paid to Shahid e Azam Bhagat Singh.
