AAPI conference in Udaipur Udaipur: Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare JP Nadda inaugurated the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (AAPI) conference and NCD program this week in Udaipur. He said that research by Indian origin doctors in foreign countries and AIIMS doctors will ensure progress of the country in health sector. He said that government and AAPI will work together in this regard. Mr. Nadda inaugurated the conference in American International Institute of Medical Sciences of GBH group in Bedwas of Udaipur.
The minister revealed that seven types of mortality including IMR, MMR, and TFR have reduced by 56 percent. 30 lacs of women and 50 lacs f children have already been vaccinated in India. AAPI is the largest organization of Indian origin doctor in foreign countries.AAPI has more than 10 thousand doctors as members and the organization is being led by Udaipur's Dr. Keerti Jain and Ajay Lodha.
