Bhawani Singh tops RAS merit list

Jaipur: Rajasthan Public Service Commission, on Tuesday, declared the list of candidates selected for the post of Rajasthan Administration Services on the basis of exam conducted in 2016. The final result, however, will be declared after the decisions made by Rajasthan High Court on all pending writ petitions.
Candidates who successfully cleared written Examination of Rajasthan State & Subordinate Services Combined competitive (Main) Examination, 2016 were called for interview. The selected ones will now be appointed on the basis of merit in addition to the service preferences.
Bhawani Singh from Pali has topped the merit list, followed by Sachin Yadav from Jaipur on the second position. Upendra Kumar Sharma from Jaipur has secured fifth position.
"I hope to get the position of Sub-Divisional Magistrate with this score and ranking. I have been preparing for the exam from past three years and studied for about five to six hours everyday for the preparation. I could manage this apart from my work as a second grade teacher.
