Rajasthan wins 4 gold medals

After some good news from Rio, here comes another reason to cheer. Rajasthan won as many as four gold medals in the 4-day long ninth Karate championship held in Kuala Lumpur. With four gold medals, players from the state also won two bronze medals. Manager Mukesh Sukhwal apprised that Gazal Jain defeated Kumite in 40 kg group of under 13 range won a gold. She also won a bronze in Kaata category.
Mukesh also told that Bharti Jain defeated a player of Kazakistan and won a gold and bronze in 53 kg group in under 16 years of range. Kavish Raj Kumawat and Ishan Paliwal also won gold medals. Kumawat defeated Sri Lanka’s opponent in sub-junior category while Ishan defeated an Indonesian player in 623 kilogram group.
