New Delhi: (Dr.Gopendra Bhatt)With the two days function on  the birth centenary celebrations of the great disciplined AcharyaShriMahapragya, Delhi Assembly made a new history.

On the initiative of Delhi VidhanSabha speaker RamnivasGoyal, a two days program was held in the VidhanSabha premises of Delhi on last Saturday & Sunday.

 A grand 'KaviSammelan' was organized on Sunday evening, Delhi Chief Minister ArvindKejriwal, Health Minister Satyendra Jain & other dignitaries were also present in the function.

Speaker Goyal launched the  evening by the lighting of the lamp with chief minister ArvindKejriwal and Health minister Satendra Jain. 

On this occasion, he also dedicated 'The AnuvratSwar News Bulletin', Terapanth Times, Amrit India newspaper special Issue on Mahapragyaji.

In the function, Dr. Mahindra Karnavat, former President and spokesperson of AnuvratMaha Committee gave the 'keynote address' on ' The Anuvrat philosophy'.

The grand 'KavyaSandhya' was started by Mangalacharan.KavyaSandhya was conducted by Dr. KusumLuniya, Secretary, Anuvrat Committee, Delhi, 

On this occasion the co-ordinator Shanti Kumar Jain and the team sang the song "Anuvrat".  The  chairman of  Anuvrat Committee, Delhi  Dr.P.C.Jain delivered the welcome address and Jain ShwetambarTeerthanthiSabha's President TejkaranSurana presented a introduction on the life of AcharyaMahapragji. MrBabulalDuggad expressed his gratitude to 'great sant' for his services to man kind. The Vice President Shanti LalPatawari gave the details of the program.

On this occasion, a documentary on the life of AcharyaMahapragya was also performed.

 *Poets added colourfulflavour in the Evening*

In the 'kavyasandhya', along with famous poet Dr. KunwarBechain, Chirag Jain, VinayBiswas, MsPrabhaKiran Jain, Dr. Kirti Kale etc. presented effective presentations.

Prior to this, MrRamvilasGoyal, speaker of the Delhi Assembly, inaugurated the " Paintings and Literature Exhibition on Mahapragya" on Saturday evening. An exhibition of more than 300 books written by AcharyaMahapragya were also deplicted on the book stall by The Terapanth Committee of Delhi. 

On this occasion, many personality of the Delhi were also present in the front  of the crowded assembly complex.
