Founder of Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti and eminent Jain Acharya Dr. Lokesh Muni appreciated the step taken by Government of India to ban sale and purchase of cattle like Cow, Buffalo, bulls, camel for slauthering. He said this was a long waited decision.
This will control the torture on animals.
Acharya Lokesh giving the credit of the decision to Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi and Environment Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan said that this will control the animal markets and animals will be sold only for agricultural purpose.
The agricultural sector in India will develop after this and environment will become better. Animals in India are assets by saving the Government of India in the leadership of Shri Narendra Modi have done a remarkable work. This will benefit all sections of the society. Acharya Lokesh said that by banning animal markets within 100 KM of Indian borders and 30 KM of State borders animal smuggling will also be controlled.
Acharya Lokesh appealed to social workers and social organisations to create awareness towards the benefits of cow to the people.
Country like Vietnam is an example how income from cow products can contribute towards making country economy stronger.
