9 Day Enriching Student Exchange Programme - SEEDLING

In order to provide a cross-cultural exposure and a global perspective to the students, Seedling has developed an extensive International Exchange and Domestic students exchange network.

Since 2018, Seedling Group of Schools has been conducting Student Exchange Programme with Sweden. These interactions have proved to be an effective platform for the exchange of networking, building connections and giving insights into a different culture.

On 19th Jan’2020, 20 students 5 teachers from Sweden were warmly received at Dabok Airport by the Seedling host team and proceeded to stay with families. Then after, on20th Jan, a group of 10 Swedish students along with their two respective heads Kerin Ledin and Den Frederick embarked on their journey to the seedling premises where they were accorded warm welcome through an expressive prayer dance, a patriotic group song and a brief presentation of SMPS (Visual presentation).

Swedish students were presented with a Rajasthani traditional Pagdi and Oparna by the Principal Ms. Maken along with the memento.

A project session was carried out and visits Vintage Car Galley, Karnimata Ranakpur, Kumbhalgarh, Kotda, Shilpgram, Pichola, etc thereby gaining the knowledge of the rich heritage of the forts and temples of Rajasthan in their 9 days stay.

This exchange program hosted by Seedling would prove to be a great learning experience for students and teachers with broader perspectives of life. It would also enable the students to learn the different Indian art forms like Mehndi, Rangoli, etc.

The principal of the school Ms.Maken said, “The exchange program has become increasingly popular with the students and nearly 25% of the batch gets a chance to spend quality time with a partner institute.”

The Director of the school, Mr. Bakshi appreciates these exchange programs as the students benefit trough interaction with a large number of overseas students.
