Digital Poster Design Competition at Pacific University

Udaipur: The divisional level digital poster design competition organized by the Pacific University ended on Saturday. The objective of this competition was to provide the students studying in all the faculties of XI and XII classes in different schools and give information about various programs based on the vision and public interest of the Government of India and generate awareness about them.The chief guest of the ceremony was District Education Officer (Secondary) Naresh Chandra Dangi, Vice-Chancellor of Pacific University BP Sharma and Registrar Sharad Kothari. On this occasion, the guests congratulated winners and told about the importance of such competitions in the student life. At the same time, VC motivated students to participate more and more in various types of competitions. Institution director Piyush Javaria told that participants participating in the competition presented their ideas on these topics.
More than 500 students from different government and private schools participated. The posters received were evaluated on criteria like innovation, originality, creativity, and affiliation with subjects in the competition. Clean India was the main topic of poster competition, aimed at making India clean and dirt-free. Digital India aims to digitized various types of office and service related systems and make common citizens familiar with it, make in India, which is aimed at manufacturing India Making Self-Realization @ Vision 2020
The first place in the competition was achieved by Siddhartha Chauhan, studying in eleventh science class of Delhi Public School, Hariom Sen, a student of 12th Arts class of Phalichara, Govt Senior secondary school ranked second while Bhavesh Sharma, a student of class XII, St Anthony Senior Secondary School, remained third.Apart from this, students who made 20 excellent posters were also felicitated.
